Stick RPG 2

Stick RPG 2 is a free browser game that was later released as a Director’s Cut on Steam.  We’re playing that version, by the way.  This is a game that I have a lot of fond memories of.  I played it a lot back in high school thoroughly enjoyed it, however I always wondered what the quote on quote “complete version” was like.  Years later I was able to finally get my hands on it, so let’s play it together!

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

One personal goal I have for my channel is to at some point do a Let’s Play of every Kingdom Hearts game.  It’s always been one of my favorite series and I feel I’m quite proficient and knowledgeable and the games.  I don’t have the technology to play the console ones quite yet, so let’s play the GBA classic, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories!  I honestly feel this game has aged better than a lot of people think.  In fact I actually sort of like it more than its remake released years later.

Super Pokemon Eevee Edition

Super Pokemon Eevee Edition is not your typical Pokemon fangame.  It’s a project by Raonak that combines elements of Pokemon, Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid.  Instead of having one Pokémon out at a time with four moves, you can have as many as four Pokémon out at any time with an almost limitless number of moves.  The game also features an active time battle system.  It’s also quite meta as well, containing elements in which you jumble with the code of generation 2 itself.  Overall, this is a very bizarre fangame.

Undertale

A unique RPG by Toby Fox, Undertale is a game that explore ideas and themes of pacifism and storytelling in a way unlike anything else. This game came to my attention after watching a few of my favorite Youtubers play it, and I knew I just had to try it myself.
This playthough is a little different from my others however. My sister, Orange Panda joined me for this Let’s Play. I recognize that this is the sort of game that’s best played blind, and she has never seen the game before. She basically played it, and I was her co-commentator. We also did the Genocide run, however I took the helm for that. I’ve always been a fan of harder playthough routes and superbosses.

Off

Off is an abstract RPG Maker game by Mortis Ghost.  This was a game I discovered when I was relatively new to indie games and it was such an experience.  Never before have I seen a game with such a good soundtrack, story and artstyle pieced together by a small handful of individuals.  It was also one of the games that sparked my love for RPG Maker.  This game is a treat both to watch and to play.

Stick Ranger

Debatably my most popular series of videos are my various videos on Stick Ranger, an action RPG by ha55ii.  To date I have done many update videos of it, 2 Let’s Plays, and a live playthrough.  It’s still to this day one of my favorite games and I always enjoy returning to it every now and then.  The game is 8 years in the making, and I get this feeling that the ending is upon us.  I have been happily following this game all those years.

Tamer Island

Tamer Island is a freeware game created using RPG Maker VX Ace. For my first game, I wanted to keep it simple, while incorporating a lot of elements I would like to include in the majority of my games in the future. Some of these include a large cast of characters (monsters in this case) which you can mix and match in your team, various mechanic ideas for dungeon gimmicks and puzzles, and an assortment of one-of-a-kind rings as the primary equipment. It’s not a fantastic game though. It sports a couple unbalanced characters, armature mapping, some embarrassing typos, and has a really abrupt ending. However I have learned from these mistakes and plan to use everything I learned from this project to make an even better game next time.

Hey everyone, welcome to Shepherd Armory!

This is the hub for everything involving myself, Gamedawg!  Like a lot of people nowadays, I’ve been gaming for the majority of my life. And now I’m giving back to medium by creating my own games as well as making video walkthroughs and Let’s Plays of games that I love or believe deserve more attention.  I’ve been very active on the internet for 7+ years, so I feel I know my way around.  Let’s have some fun!
I am 21 years old and grew up in Maine my entire life. It’s a beautiful place, with lots of beaches, lighthouses, and good people.  I aspire to create indie games for a living, so I’m currently working towards Computer Science & New Media majors.  I also practice drawing a lot in my free time, for I’d like to do all of my own artwork as well.
For me, Let’s Plays have always been a great way to show off games, spark discussion, learn new things, and endorse lesser-known indie projects.  I play a variety of games for my channel, the majority of them being RPGs and small indie projects.  I have a mentality that every game deserves to have a Let’s Play of it.  There’s a lot out there, and not every game gets its time in the spotlight.  I know it’s unrealistic for me to play every game, but I like to do what I can.
I’ve also been very interested in creating games for several years now.  I have a lot of stories I would like to tell, and I feel games are the best medium for me to share them.  The majority of the games I create are planned to be a series of unique RPGs.  I’ve always been a fan of the genre and how they encourage and explore storytelling, experimentation, statistics and strategy.  I feel I’ve played enough in my life both on camera and personally to create a fun one myself.
